Best time to visit Paris
Paris is a city that you’ll want to visit during all four seasons so you can experience the magic of the changing hues, vibrant blossoms, and festive fun.
The best months to visit Paris are May through to June when the temperature (20°C/68°F up to 24°C/75°F) is warm enough to enjoy walks along the river Seine and al fresco dinners with the sun setting as late as 10 pm in June.
March & April are also great months to visit and witness the explosion of pink cherry blossoms and purple wisteria. If you can, avoid visiting in peak summer (July & August) to avoid the crowds, school holiday vacationers, and hotel price hikes.
September through November is another prime time to visit Paris, as the city embraces a mild autumn climate, offering a perfect blend of comfortable temperatures, fewer crowds, and a rich tapestry of fall colours.
Visiting Paris in December is a bucket list experience, as the city transforms into a winter wonderland adorned with festive lights and displays, charming Christmas markets, and a cozy ambiance. I recommend visiting the first week of December or the last week of November to beat the end-of-year crowds.
